On Saturday, October 25th, from 11am-2pm, Reynolds Avenue will transform into a lively community hub, featuring:

• Interactive streetscape designs and opinion surveys

• Community stories and creative displays

• Local food trucks & vendors

• Live DJ & entertainment

• Family-friendly activities & youth-designed fun

• A pop-up fitness center

• And other incredible surprises!

Why It Matters

This event (formerly known as Better Block) has a proven track record of influencing real change in North Charleston:

• The transfer of Reynolds Avenue to city ownership, making safer pedestrian and bike transportation and creative streetscapes closer to reality.

• The purchase of a nearby parking lot by the City of North Charleston, improving access to businesses.

• Ongoing investment in resident-led development, from business incubators to youth programs.

As we look toward this year's Homecoming and years to come, this event exists to make sure community voices, culture, and history are prioritized as future mass transportation and development plans are created that will impact the community.
