Come together with more than 250 neighbors, local leaders, and changemakers at Metanoia’s inaugural Live Well Luncheon as we explore what it means to live well in a community shaped by both memory and movement.
This year, we’re lifting up the transformative power of third spaces — from barbershops and front porches to youth programs and community gathering places — and how they’re creating new pathways toward leadership and belonging in Chicora and other historically Black neighborhoods in North Charleston.
Through storytelling, short video vignettes, and reflections from local voices, guests will experience what “living well” looks like through the eyes of our neighbors. We’ll also celebrate those who continue to shape these places — from the resilience seen at Reynolds Homecoming to the community effort now underway to build a new recreation center on the former site of Sterrett Hall.
CEO Bill Stanfield will share what’s on the horizon across Metanoia’s strategic focus areas and how neighbors, partners, and supporters can continue walking alongside this work.
Whether you’ve walked with Metanoia for years or are joining us for the first time, the Live Well Luncheon invites you into a shared story of connection, leadership, and belonging.
